Reaching Out To My Rabbis a book of invocations from the Qur’ān and sunnah with as many explanatory notes that we could gather. The book is in three parts. The first part has the general supplications from the Qur’ān and sunnah, and the supplications for forgiveness which can be asked at all times. There are also invocations for specific needs and situations, morning and evening remembrance, as well as those related to our daily activities. The ad‘iyah and adhkār in the second part are those specifically related to Ṣalāh, sickness, death, travel, Ḥajj and ‘Umrah. The third part is on Ruqyah (reciting the Qur’ān and saying supplications over the sick seeking healing). The explanatory notes are by scholars and from various authentic books. This book is ideal for those who wish to have a deeper understanding of the supplications they are making to Allāh subḥānahu wa ta‘ālá and the significance and merits of various invocations.
